[Video] Idaho county pushes new bill aimed at illegal aliens
Boise, Idaho — The Idaho State Legislature is considering new legislation that would crack down on illegal immigrants looking to work in the Gem State. But the bill doesn’t just go after the illegal’s, but also those they work for. “If they knowingly hire someone who is not in this country legally — knowingly, which is a high standard. But if they knowingly hire someone, that also would be against the law as well,” Sen. John McGee.
Senate Bill 1271 makes it illegal to produce false identification when applying for a job, enhances the penalties and makes it specific in law.
